Full Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an RF Field Service Representative to support the U.S. Navy's drone network build in San Diego, CA. We are seeking a technician to support the team with the integration and testing of critical network communication systems across various sites globally. Details below:

Clearance: Secret clearance

Location: San Diego, CA (On-site) Travel: Up to 50% (CONUS/OCONUS)

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver on-site technical support for podded communication systems Serve as a technical liaison to supported military units and elements Create and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and procedures.
  • Configure systems to support testing and prototype development
  • Develop troubleshooting guidelines and workaround documentation
  • Perform system and subsystem testing
  • Review system specifications and provide feedback on development, testing, and network documentation
  • Install and configure Windows and Linux servers and capture, deploy, and manage system images Manage and maintain DNS, Exchange, and Active Directory services
  • Administer virtual environments Deploy, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure-such as switches, servers, and firewalls-and resolve network issues


Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance (highly preferred)
  • Bachelors degree with 4+ years of relevant network communications, test, and integration experience
  • Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time (CONUS/OCONUS)
  • Tactical Data Link familiarity (e.g. CDL, TTNT, L-16, SADL, etc.) required. Live field testing, experience with military communication systems required. Working knowledge on network security devices (e.g. firewall, NGFW, IPS, IDS)
  • Working knowledge on event management systems.


Compensation:
  • Total compensation based on experience level - $120,000-$140,000+
