Reverse Engineer Levels 3 & 4 Fort Meade, MD / San Antino, TX
Description: Perform a technical analysis of malicious binaries through controlled execution and/or static analysis of assembly code, overcoming techniques designed to defeat analysis, to ascertain functionality, capability, and call-backs, assist with attribution to adversary infrastructure, and identification of indicators of compromise.
Provide information and documentation that enables malware detection, signature creation, and mitigation.
Education: The degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.Experience: A bachelor's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or a master's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
An associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
Relevant Experience: Must be in malware reverse engineering. CISSP, GIAC GREM, or CREA Certification are required. Information Assurance Certification may be required.
Light malware analysis with knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, STIX, CAPA and knowledge capture with customer's relevant knowledge base systems (CLEARVISION, RKS); intermediate or greater python / Jupyter; assist with CLEARVISION improvements and upload automation of threat summaries (process STIX bundles)
