Revenue Program Administrator I - SES

This is an anticipated vacancy for Regions A and C.

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Revenue Program Administrator I - SES position in the General Tax Administration Program's Audit Process. The incumbent provides regional leadership for the audit process, overseeing audit operations and guiding Tax Audit Supervisors, Tax Auditors, and support staff. The incumbent works closely with Audit Leadership to ensure consistent procedures, effective techniques, and alignment across the region. Key responsibilities include monitoring audit performance measures to maintain efficiency, productivity, quality, and strong return on investment. Additional duties include coordinating special projects, supporting hiring and management activities, assisting with complex audit cases, and mentoring regional staff. The position also manages essential administrative and personnel functions, including approving timesheets, leave requests, travel vouchers, and preparing and completing performance plans.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
  • Four years of experience as a Tax Audit Supervisor in the General Tax Administration Program's Audit Process.

SPECIAL NOTES:
  • This role is region-based and requires travel to offices within the assigned territory. Applicants should reside within the region or be able to travel there regularly.
  • The position may involve travel that includes multiple overnight stays.
  • This is an anticipated vacancy for Regions A and C. Region A includes Alachua, Panama City, Pensacola, Tampa, Largo. Region C includes Coral Springs, Miami, and Fort Myers.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position will generally not exceed $7,833.33 monthly/$93,999.96 annually.
