Full Job Description
Salary ranges from $82K-$85K plus bonus

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for an Revenue Manager.

What will you be doing most days?
  • Maximizing property rooms revenue through the appropriate pricing and control of the hotel's room inventory.
  • Formulate and execute Yield Management decisions and make adjustments accordingly that result in positive market share gains for the hotel.
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly forecasts and accuracy within a 3% guideline.
  • Review group blocks, monitor pick up, cut-off dates and ensure Group rates and ceilings are in places in the Sales & Catering Management System
  • Maintain and provide point of contact support for all OTAs
  • Prepare reports for the hotel and corporate office including: Weekly Reports, End of Month Reports, Pace Reports, Revenue Meeting Reports, etc.
  • Host weekly revenue management meeting
  • Attend weekly sales and operations meetings
  • Monitor reservations daily
  • Responsible for assisting with Wholesale reservations, maintaining inventory and rates.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the property rooms budget and forecasting process.
  • Assist in developing the property marketing plan to enhance revenue through the brand
  • Monitor and update rates and inventory through Kdate
  • Ensure the timely and accurate loading of property rates, policies and procedures
  • Audit and familiarize hotel on sales tactics and strategies of competitor properties as well as the property's listing on other channels
  • Any other assignments as determined by the City Dir. Of Revenue Management or General Manager


What are the requirements for this position?
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, management, or related field
  • Thorough understanding of Global Distribution Systems, Hotel PMS and Hotel Property Sales and Catering Management System.
  • Ability to work with people possessing different levels of hotel management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage his/her time.
  • Thorough understanding and ability to establish profitability goals.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, including the ability to manage rate and availability to ensure hotel revenue maximization.
  • Ability to analyze problems and demonstrate sound problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret statistical data; to write routine reports and correspondence; to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization; to edit grammar, spelling, punctuation, and content.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Basic accounting procedures.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables; ability to research and critically analyze information
  • Proficient working knowledge of Windows Office, especially Excel.


Physical Requirements for this Position

This is a largely sedentary role; however, you must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.

Travel Requirements

This position requires up to 20% travel. Travel is outside the local area and overnight.

Pay Scale: $66.82 - $91.78/hour
