Revenue Enablement Analyst, Data Product Manager - Neuromodulation

About the role:
Are you a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for driving revenue growth? We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as a Revenue Enablement Analyst within our Neuromodulation division. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving revenue by creating data and reporting capabilities and driving continuous process improvement by harmonizing business processes and data flows across systems and cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact on the business.

This is a hybrid role based in Valencia, CA (highly preferred), but we will also consider candidates in MN or MA locations.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic roadmapping: Maintain and deliver a comprehensive data product roadmap that outlines the vision, goals, and strategic direction for data management and analytics products. Continuously update the roadmap based on evolving business needs, technological advancements, and market trends. Manage prioritization of analytics needs across the business and help articulate business value.
  • Business acumen: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand business needs for data, translate them into use cases, and prioritize a plan based on strategic goals and value. Define key metrics and KPIs to measure performance and health of the business.
  • Data and process acumen: Help streamline data flows to create a single source of truth for data. Bring knowledge of the business, process flow, and context to data, while understanding the technical aspects of all source systems (internal and external). Troubleshoot data flow discrepancies and accuracy issues, and help problem solve data opportunities.
  • Governance: Lead the community of data experts within the division and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality. Optimize the intake process, develop and maintain standardized reporting frameworks, create and manage the data dictionary, and build a comprehensive data/KPI lexicon to align stakeholders on terminology. Rationalize analytics assets and reports, measure usage, and eliminate unused reports.
  • Technology and reporting innovation: Harness existing reporting and visualization tools to craft intuitive analytical reports and insights for field personnel and leadership. Lead the development and implementation of innovative reporting tools and technologies by working closely with data engineering and analytics teams, representing the voice of the business.
  • Digital capabilities and automation: Leverage digital tools and platforms to automate and streamline processes. Implement and manage sales enablement technologies to improve efficiency and productivity. Help shape enterprise systems strategy and integrate new digital, AI, and generative AI tools into the existing technology stack.
  • Process improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to create efficiencies for both field sales and commercial back-office functions. Work with cross-functional teams to align processes and ensure consistency. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), data definitions, and process maps where applicable.
  • Project management and communication: Exhibit outstanding project management capabilities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leaders, providing clear updates on status, risks, and timelines. Liaise with IT partners on key projects to ensure quality products are delivered on time and as expected.
  • Operational excellence: Display a sense of urgency in responding to requests by providing timely, accurate, and efficient support for our team and stakeholders. Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness and dedication to the collective success of the team.

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, data analytics, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, sales enablement, commercial IT, or a related function
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role, with experience in data tools such as SQL, Python, VBA, SAS, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, cloud environments (AWS, Snowflake), and modern data architecture principles
  • 2+ years of experience with analytical visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or others
  • Expert-level experience with back-office applications, including Excel and MS Access
  • Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (SAP, Anaplan, Model N, Conga) and CRM capabilities (SFDC)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills to work with individuals at all levels of the organization and articulate data strategies to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven track record of managing the lifecycle of complex data-driven products or solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, market needs, and the competitive landscape in data and analytics
  • Experience building a product roadmap, prioritizing features, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams while influencing without authority
  • Ability to own and manage projects end-to-end
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically

Preferred qualifications:
  • Commercial back-office experience in the medical device or life sciences industry
  • Knowledge of Boston Scientific commercial systems and processes
  • Prior experience implementing data-driven AI or generative AI use cases and other commercial digital platforms
  • Experience applying statistical modeling and predictive analytics to solve business problems

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
