The
Retail Sales Manageris responsible for leading a team of Retail Agents at our owned Service Points to deliver the DHL best in class customer experience to customers. TheRetail Sales Managerwill manage the overall operations of the stores within a defined (multi-state) geographic area. TheRetail Sales Managerwill focus on supporting and developing the team to drive sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and service quality. TheRetail Sales Managerwill work cross functionally within DHL to manage the financial performance as well as safety and security within the store through development and execution of effective processes.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead, train and support up to 5-10 Retail agents within a multi-state area, provide consistent coaching and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction and a great place to work for employees
- Drives the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.
- Support customer escalations and displaying a customer comes first attitude
- Monitors and manages store staffing levels to ensure partner development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain store operational requirements.
- Manage Google reviews of dedicated Retail locations
- Work with the local Retail Executives to increase revenue and maintain profitability of stores
- Oversee daily activities and develop or execute processes to ensure safety and security, while maintaining and auditing store image standards
- Uses all operational tools to plan for and achieve operational excellence in the stores
- Involves routine travel in support Retail agents and store operations
Skills and Qualifications: - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others; some leadership experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle escalations
- Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (additional experience with a CRM system is preferred)
- Successful academic and professional track record
- Flexibility for routine travel
- Creative and innovative thinking in bringing successful resolutions to high-impact, and complex problems
- Experience selling in the transportation/logistics industry is preferred
- BS/BA or MS/MA with 3+ years previous experience
