As a Service Response Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our operations.
You'll lead by example, ensuring a safe work environment, mentoring a dedicated team, and delivering top-notch service to our valued customers.
Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our commitment to excellence, driving productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role we anticipate you will spend some time in the field supporting Technicians.
For this position, the earning potential is between $95,000 to $100,000+ salary plus an annual incentive bonus. This range reflects our commitment to providing competitive compensation that aligns with industry standards and your qualifications.
Job Description:- Lead and champion a healthy and safe work environment by ensuring all safety standards and procedures are followed.
- Conduct daily and scheduled review meetings (pre-job, mid-job, post-job).
- Ensure compliance through proper truck inspections and documentation.
- Conduct pre-job meetings to review scope of work and identify safety opportunities.
- Perform post-job review meetings and final inspections.
- Conduct in-person inspections to ensure JHA controls are used and updated.
- Lead and participate in regular safety meetings.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop staff, providing regular performance feedback.
- Ability to spend time in the field to ensure work scope is followed and address technical issues promptly.
- Manage the repair process, including tooling, warranty, and inspection findings.
- Oversee technician productivity, allocate resources, and manage job progress.
- Conduct mid-job reviews and communicate job changes to technicians.
Qualifications:- 2+ years experience in leading teams.
- Journeyperson in a relevant trade is an asset.
- Experience managing in a unionized environment is an asset.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and Human Organization Performance safety model.
- Financial acumen and strong business understanding.
- Understanding of the National Safety Code and contamination control.
- Strong understanding of the Caterpillar product line and processes.
Please Note: This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with the potential to transition to a 7x7 rotation in the future.
