Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Pay Range: $34.98 - $43.15 per hour ($72,758 - $89,752 annually)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Job OverviewA leading healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated
Respiratory Therapist to join its growing Respiratory Therapy team. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care by providing high-quality respiratory services in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in respiratory therapy, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess, treat, and monitor patients requiring respiratory care services
- Maintain accurate patient records in both electronic and paper formats
- Document treatments, procedures, and patient responses
- Enter patient and billing information accurately into electronic systems
- Provide age-appropriate care based on patient needs and developmental stages
- Assist with sleep studies and EEG testing as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
QualificationsRequired- Current New York State Respiratory Therapist license (RT or RTT)
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Ability to perform oxygen, CPAP, and BiPAP titrations
Preferred- Polysomnography (Sleep Lab) experience
- Previous hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
