For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $20,000.00 sign on bonus for Respiratory Therapists

Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part time position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Full Time (36 hrs ), Night Shift

Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist I demonstrates basic competency in foundational respiratory care procedures under supervision, and provides assessment, treatment, monitoring, and education to patients across care settings. Continues to develop clinical expertise and critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration while progressing within the respiratory care role.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate from a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Care required. Minimum of a CRT certification required, or a RRT certification is required. Must have an RRT certification to advance to a Respiratory Therapist II. Current BLS certification required, or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Current ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date.
  3. Experience: No experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A

The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
