Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Residential Living Advisor's primary responsibility will be to communicate sales and contractual information, as well asclosesales to increase occupancyin accordance withthe business and marketing plans. This position Maintain positive and understanding relationships with all prospective clients and their families; Assist in identifying innovative events and methods to increase visitation of targeted groups; Obtain and maintain knowledge of competitors; Schedule and conduct tours and visits, price structure, screening process, and financial options; Make public presentations, and use public speaking skills to sell community, and maintain relationships with professionals outside of the community to gain professional referrals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Promotes the occupancy growth of the community by conducting community tours and hosting various prospect and professional events to increase occupancy. Confidently communicates and sells Eskaton's value proposition, including contractual information and the financial requirements associated with community fees.
  • Sets, tracks, and achieves monthly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). Schedules monthly community presentations with local resource centers and community events to enhance visibility and strengthen outreach efforts.
  • Optimizes daily schedules and prioritizes tasks to ensure prospects are contacted in a timely manner. Advances the sales process for prospective residents, their family members, and/or advisors by understanding their needs and educating them on how Eskaton's care services and programs can meet those needs, effectively demonstrating the organization's value.
  • Responds promptly to every lead source, including incoming telephone calls and in-person inquiries from referral sources, prospective residents, and families. Maintains ownership of CRM accuracy and data integrity, with a strong focus on consistent daily outbound calling efforts.
  • Oversees the coordination and completion of all activities within the sales cycle, converting community fees into move-ins. This includes visiting prospects in their homes, healthcare providers, or other locations, and ensuring all required documentation is completed by physicians, prospects, and family members prior to move-in.
  • Drives traffic to the community through referral development, networking, and events. Actively participates in networking groups and seeks opportunities to present and host events across the broader geographic area to build a strong presence and increase community awareness.
  • Monitors the financial and health screening process for clients and clearly explains all aspects of community services to prospective members and other interested individuals or groups.
  • Maintains the Matrix database to ensure accurate and relevant tracking of leads, prospects, and move-ins. Implements the marketing plan, including participation (as needed) throughout all phases of Life Plan/CCRC membership, Lodge sales, move-in processes, special events, promotional strategies, community relations, and presentations.
  • Follows strategic marketing plan components and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency. Effectively manages multiple activities and customers simultaneously, with a proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

Starting pay ranges from $32.09 per hour - $44.89 per hour. Factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, job-related skills, internal equity, and market considerations may influence base pay. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to new resident move-ins.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum two years of college study in sales, health or human services required (or equivalent professional experience). Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Training and Experience:

At least three years' experience in sales with a proven sales or promotion track record. Ability to build effective relationships and close sales. Designing presentations, public speaking and marketing retirement housing concepts to community groups preferred. Computer literacy required with specific software familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM databases.

Knowledge and Abilities:

Knowledge of healthcare of older adults and delivery of services to that population. Demonstrated knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.

Light Work

The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
