Minimum qualifications: - PhD in Computer Science, Computational Social Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience publishing research in machine learning or NLP conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, COLM).
- 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: social impact of AI, reinforcement learning, multimodal agents, computational social science, or natural language understanding.
Preferred qualifications: - 3 years of experience with training, evaluating, and interpreting large language models.
- Experience working with large and noisy datasets.
- Experience collaborating across interdisciplinary fields.
- Experience designing and executing independent research projects.
- Passion for research on societal benefits and implications of the internet and AI with a focus on simulation.
