The Research Engineer II position is responsible for providing engineering support for laboratory-based research. This position, under the direction of a Principle Investigator (PI), Operations Manager or Administrator, may support bench techniques, working with laboratory animals, scientific writing, and data analysis. The Research Engineer II position may conduct microscope work and image analysis, analyzing, implementing and testing materials. This position may participate in the development or establishment of new laboratory procedures, including biological assays, quantitative and qualitative analyses.

QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
EXPERIENCE- Two years of related research experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONSPreferred- Engineers in Training-EIT Certification or
- Professional Engineer (PE) License - State Licensure
