About the Role
You will lead middle office operations supporting structured finance portfolios, such as CLOs, CDOs, and syndicated loans. As a point of contact for clients, you will oversee financial processes, ensure data integrity, and drive service excellence. This role focuses on delivering accurate reporting, managing risk and compliance activities, and improving operational efficiency. Success is defined by high-quality client outcomes, strong stakeholder relationships, and efficient, scalable processes.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Oversee daily middle office operations for assigned client portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage cash flows, reconciliations, trade settlements, and waterfall calculations across complex structures
  • Serve as primary client contact, resolving operational issues and delivering responsive service
  • Produce and review financial and investor reports aligned to client and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct compliance testing and monitor covenant and portfolio activity
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement solutions for complex operational challenges
  • Support team leadership activities including mentoring, performance feedback, and workload planning
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization to enhance scalability and efficiency


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in financial services operations supporting structured or institutional assets
  • Strong knowledge of structured finance products such as CLOs, CDOs, and syndicated loans
  • Proven expertise in cash reconciliations, transaction processing, and financial reporting
  • Experience performing waterfall calculations and compliance testing
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality outcomes


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with trust or middle office platforms (e.g., CDO Suite, WSO, Solvas)
  • Familiarity with corporate trust securities and alternative investment operations
  • Experience leading teams or mentoring junior colleagues
  • Advanced Excel or data analysis capabilities, including financial modeling or automation techniques
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to structured finance

The pay range for this full-time position is $87,290 - 148,390 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
