Full Job Description
Your Opportunity

We are looking to expand our archaeology team with a 12-month contract position. This includes the potential for a transition to a permanent full-time position in future. Work will focus on projects across various service lines in British Columbia. The successful candidate may be located at any of our office locations throughout British Columbia.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing regulatory deliverables including site forms, interim and final reporting
  • Managing digitally and manually collected field data
  • Actively participating in Stantec's HSSE programs

Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Self-motivated, has excellent technical writing skills
  • Experience in Cultural Resource Management, specifically reporting, an asset
  • Dedicated to following and promoting a strong safety culture
  • Desire to work closely with other environmental professionals and First Nations
  • Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required.

Minimum 5 years of archaeological experience including the production of regulatory deliverables.

Pay Range:
• Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC & Various locations in Ontario-$63,800.00 - $92,500.00 Annually
• Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$67,600.00 - $98,100.00 Annually

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
