This role is execution-focused, emphasizing user story definition, backlog management, delivery support, and ensuring solutions meet user needs and quality standards. Within a SAFe agile environment, the Product Manager acts as the day-to-day product authority for their assigned scope, partnering closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:- Define clear product requirements and user stories to enable efficient and accurate delivery by engineering teams.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery aligned with sprint and quarterly objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate assessment concepts into actionable product specifications.
- Manage the end-to-end product development process, ensuring cross-functional alignment throughout delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact product success, including technical, operational, or delivery challenges.
- Support discovery activities to validate user needs and refine solution designs.
- Partner with design and engineering teams to ensure solutions are usable, reliable, and fit for purpose.
- Define acceptance criteria and lead user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate release readiness activities to support smooth deployment into production.
- Gather and synthesize user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Track feature-level performance metrics to enable data-driven iteration.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4-8 years of experience in product management or as a product owner.
- Strong grounding in agile product delivery with a solid understanding of the product development lifecycle; SAFe experience preferred.
- Technical acumen with hands-on exposure to software development.
- Experience working on B2B digital products; assessment or analytics experience a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Aha!.
- Strong customer empathy with the ability to translate user needs into clear product requirements.
- Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
