Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events including PI Planning, ART Syncs, and System Demos

  • Ensure alignment of business objectives, manufacturing priorities, and technology roadmaps
  • Monitor ART performance through Agile metrics and promote continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate deployments of manufacturing solutions across multiple plants
  • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and proactively remove delivery impediments
  • Promote SAFe principles and drive process improvements through Inspect & Adapt sessions

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer RTE with strong expertise in Manufacturing operations Industry 40 Digital Manufacturing Supply Chain and Agile Delivery to lead and facilitate largescale Agile Release Trains ARTs The ideal candidate will act as a servant leader and coach driving alignment across multiple Agile teams business stakeholders manufacturing operations and technology groups to deliver highquality solutions that enhance production efficiency operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives

The RTE will play a critical role in coordinating crossfunctional teams supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems MES ERP integrations shop floor systems IIoT platforms quality systems and production planning applications

Key Responsibilities

Agile Release Train Leadership

Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train ART events including PI Planning ART Syncs System Demos Inspect Adapt workshops and Release Planning

Drive execution and delivery across multiple Agile teams within the ART

Ensure alignment between business objectives manufacturing priorities and technology roadmaps

Track dependencies risks impediments and escalate issues as required

Monitor ART performance through Agile metrics and continuous improvement initiatives

Manufacturing Domain Coordination

Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations Plant Managers Production Planning Quality Supply Chain Engineering and IT teams

Support deployment of manufacturing solutions across multiple plants and production facilities

Coordinate releases involving

Manufacturing Execution Systems MES

ERP Systems SAP S4HANA Oracle ERP

Warehouse Management Systems WMS

Product Lifecycle Management PLM

Quality Management Systems QMS

IIoT and Connected Factory Solutions

Ensure minimal disruption to production during deployments and releases

Program and Portfolio Management

Partner with Product Managers Product Owners Solution Architects and Business Leaders

Facilitate roadmap alignment and value stream delivery

Support Lean Portfolio Management practices

Assist with prioritization of features and enablers aligned with business goals

Risk and Dependency Management

Identify and manage crossteam dependencies

Proactively remove delivery impediments

Coordinate release readiness assessments and golive planning

Manage compliance and validation requirements applicable to manufacturing environments

Continuous Improvement

Promote SAFe principles and Agile best practices

Coach Scrum Masters Product Owners and Agile Teams

Drive process improvements through Inspect Adapt sessions

Establish KPIs and dashboards to track ART health and delivery performance

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing Computer Science Information Technology or related field

8 years of experience in Agile Program Delivery Project Management or Release Management

3 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer RTE Agile Program Manager or Senior Scrum Master

Strong experience within Manufacturing Industrial Automotive Aerospace Consumer Goods Pharmaceutical or Industrial Equipment industries

Handson experience with SAFe Agile Framework

Experience leading largescale crossfunctional Agile programs

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with endtoend software delivery lifecycle and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

SAFe Release Train Engineer RTE Certification

SAFe Program Consultant SPC Certification

PMP PMIACP Scrum Master or Agile Certifications

Experience supporting Industry 40 and Smart Manufacturing initiatives

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies

Knowledge of production processes shop floor operations and supply chain management
