Qualifications

• 8-15+ years of experience in alternatives, ideally with private funds and registered investment advisors.
• Proficient in fund structuring and formation, and reviewing governing documents for alternative and registered funds.
• Familiarity with investor governing documents, such as LLC and trust agreements.
• Solid understanding of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Securities Act of 1933.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC requirements for private fund investors is beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills with a focus on personal interaction.
• Demonstrated professionalism in client-facing and internal situations.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Self-starter with strong project management and process development capabilities.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Subscription Document Review team, overseeing operations and team performance.
• Manage client engagements, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Review and maintain investor subscription materials, including documentation and indexes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive reporting for client and investor subscriptions and transaction data.
• Update and enforce rules of engagement for fund sponsors and law firm departments.
• Liaise with investment relation teams regarding fundraises and investor-related concerns.
• Provide constructive feedback on deficiencies found in investor subscription materials.
