Position SummaryOur Medical Integrated Program is the single largest clinical team in the hospital. Encompassing three floors (B6, B7 and B8) this program has a varying patient population with acute care needs. MIP is a hospitalist led model of care, including RNs, RPNs and PSWs, practicing to their full scope. Nurses on this unit will be given the opportunity to cross train between all of three floors, allowing them to learn new roles and help their colleagues as patient needs and census changes
Education Requirements - Graduate of an accredited college nursing program
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Mandatory Qualifications - Current two (2) years of experience in a medical/surgical setting

- Self-directed individual with the ability to work both independently and in partnership with members of the inter professional team
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and personal development in nursing
