Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license required.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years nursing experience (home health, medical, surgical, or critical care).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care while respecting residents' rights and preferences.
• Monitor and document residents' physical and emotional status through daily evaluations.
• Ensure clear handoff communication with oncoming nursing staff during shift changes.
• Effectively communicate with physicians and families about residents' condition changes and incidents.
• Implement new physician orders and update care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications on schedule, adhering to safety and stop-order policies.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve resident-centered outcomes.
