This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. In addition to the sign-on bonus, this position may be eligible for a relocation bonus if current residency is outside of the designated distance to the facility.

Where You Will Work:

The Satellite department consists of 4 Med/Surg, Medical Telemetry units, totaling 34 beds. Our units are dedicated to delivering safe and quality care to patients seamlessly, while optimizing patient flow and capacity by alleviating pressure on the Emergency Department. We cater to a diverse patient population experiencing a wide array of acute diagnoses, including (but not limited to) chest pain, pneumonia, electrolyte imbalances, diabetes, cellulitis, trauma injuries, and mental health instabilities.

We27re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • 6 months of RN experience

What You27ll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health27s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship hospital of Atrium Health, which is distinguished throughout the Southeastern United States for its excellent patient care and medical expertise. CMC serves as the region27s only Level 1 Trauma center, is Magnet-designated, and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. We also serve as one of North Carolina27s five Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serve as a satellite for the medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill.
