Location: Austin, TX

Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center

Department/Specialty: Pedi CVOR

Schedule: Day | Full Time 6:30am-5pm, call required including weekend call. Call is 1 weeknight/week, 1 weekend every 5 weeks.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Coordinate patient care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to support positive surgical outcomes and procedural efficiency.
• Assess and monitor patient condition throughout cardiovascular procedures, communicating critical updates to support timely clinical decision-making and quality patient care.
• Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms, surgical instruments, and specialized equipment to ensure procedural readiness, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
