How you'll make an impact in this role- Execute scrub functions, including selection and sterile handling of instrumentation and supplies.
- Execute circulator functions, including monitoring, documentation, and real-time communication.
- Partner with surgeons to facilitate hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and optimal patient positioning.
- Oversee the preparation and sterilizations of rooms, surgical instruments, and high-tech equipment.
- Deliver nursing care while maintaining a focus on safety, sterility, and clinical outcomes.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following required:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
