Department: Medical Surgical

Schedule: Night shift | Full-time

Salary: $39.75 - 56.11 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care for a diverse Medical-Surgical population using evidence-based practice, strong clinical judgment, and autonomy to assess, manage, and respond to complex and changing patient conditions
  • Synthesize clinical data to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized plans of care while executing physician and nursing orders with a focus on safety, quality, and optimal outcomes
  • Functions as the central point of coordination for patient care, partnering with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to communicate clinical updates, coordinate orders and consults, and ensure safe, seamless care throughout the patient stay
  • Initiate discharge planning at admission in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, coordinating transitions of care and providing patient and family education to ensure and timely transition to the next level of care.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


Education:
