How you'll make an impact in this roleSupervise the daily activities of the pharmacy staff. May perform the duties of a Pharmacist.
- Schedule and assign daily work assignments for pharmacy staff.
- Train, coach, and evaluate associates on performance expectations, and apply progressive discipline when appropriate. Participate in hiring and termination procedures within span of control.
- Act as liaison between department and other hospital departments, physicians and external customers in matters relating to pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure that procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Inpatient pharmacy/pharmacist experience is required
