How you'll make an impact in this role- Lead and empower the unit team by directing daily workflows, mentoring and developing staff, and fostering a collaborative environment that elevates patient care standards.
- Optimize patient care delivery by proactively resolving unit-level operational challenges to ensure every patient receives safe, seamless, and high-quality treatment.
- Drive operational excellence and compliance through the development and implementation of unit policies that maintain strict adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Manage unit resources and budgets strategically to ensure the clinical team has the staffing, equipment, and support required to deliver exceptional healthcare efficiently.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- 2+ years of ED experience
