How you'll make an impact in this roleManage associate and occupational health activities, workflow and staffing resources within designated regional ministry markets.
- Provide regulatory and accreditation requirements to and collaborate with ministry governance committees as needed.
- Oversee record keeping and reporting processes on system platforms utilized to store records.
- Provide leadership and direction for development and implementation of initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
- Provide assistance to Workers Compensation function regarding accommodated duty, restricted duty, disability leave, return to work and associate safety.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Some travel to other AOH locations and Ascension Hospitals.
- Office is closed for all Ascension recognized holidays.
- 2 years of RN experience
- 1 year of leadership or management experience
