  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school or similar professional licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee nursing quality management programs.
  • Ensure implementation of care plans and therapy programs.
  • Investigate and report safety incidents effectively.
  • Review patient charts to identify quality indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to nursing staff based on chart review findings.

How you'll make an impact in this role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversees program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develops and documents care plans and therapy programs.
  • Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.
  • Investigate and report safey events
  • Complete detailed chart reviews to identify specific quality indicators. Provide coaching and feedback to staff based on findings.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.


Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
