How you'll make an impact in this role- Drive improvements in employee engagement and patient experience.
- Manage operations for 4 units and Respiratory Therapy Services encompassing a total of 120 beds and a head-count of 220.
- Provide direct supervision and development for a leadership team consisting of 5 managers and 1 assistant manager.
- Drive measurable improvements in key departmental metrics, specifically focusing on turnover rates, quality outcomes, and financial performance.
- Partner effectively with key internal stakeholders.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Possession of or nearing the completion of an MSN, MHA, or MBA degree
- At least 3 years of experience in Critical Care, specifically within an ICU setting
- Proven history of progressive leadership over at least 3 years in a Manager or Director capacity
