How you'll make an impact in this role- Team Direction: Assign, educate, and monitor nursing staff to drive peak shift performance and care delivery.
- Strategic Planning: Exercise independent judgment to optimize shift work-flows, services, and clinical staffing.
- Resource Optimization: Secure and manage essential materials, supplies, and resources to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
- Operational Accountability: Design acuity-based assignments, maintain unit productivity standards, and manage operational variances.
- Talent Management: Partner in building unit culture through staff training, performance coaching, and hiring input.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer daten required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
