Full Job Description

As the Regional Vice President, Hospice, the work you do every day makes a difference in the lives of our patients by leading our Hospice teams to achieve excellent clinical outcomes, ensure continuity of services, meet all regulatory/compliance requirements, and achieve high patient and teammate satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL LOVE DOING:
You’ll provide oversight for Executive Directors on management of office operations, staffing, teammate management and development, partner collaboration, and patient care. You will have additional duties including coordination with Care Integration, providing backup coverage for Executive Directors when required, and working with peer RVPs to support corporate initiatives. 

  • Business Performance: Provide oversight for the overall clinical processes, clinical outcomes, and financial performance of assigned Agency location(s).

  • Leadership/Development: Directly supervise, lead and develop the Executive Director(s) and indirectly guide the clinical leadership team on operations, processes, employee issues, and patient/ clinical concerns.

  • Outcomes: Ensure quality outcomes and safe patient care.

  • Customer Service: Work with field team to ensure patient and employee satisfaction and resolution of issues and concerns.

  • Communication: Interact with individuals (internal clinical teams, patient family members, physician, etc.) as applicable via phone, email and/or face to face concerning patient care.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with our health partners with quality and process measures. 

  • Policies: Assume accountability for policies/procedures, documentation and clinical charting practices in accordance with agency protocol and Medicare/Federal/State guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse with supervisory or administrative experience in hospice care or related health programs OR five (5) years supervisory or administration experience in home health care or related health programs 

  • Hospice background with multiple sites strongly preferred

  • Operational knowledge of HCHB is preferred

  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge

  • Travel Requirement, as needed (Estimated 50-75%)

  •  Capable of all physical demands
