Regional Sales Manager - Southeast (Remote)This is a remote-based position, ideally located within the Southeastern United States, with regional travel required.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the regional sales business plan to achieve defined targets and growth objectives
- Own accountability for achieving short-term (18-month rolling) revenue, pricing, and business development goals
- Manage and expand the territory by identifying target accounts and engaging key technical decision-makers
- Drive business intelligence activities, including analysis of competitors, pricing strategies, market trends, and industry dynamics
- Lead, manage, and develop independent sales representatives to optimize territory performance
- Consistently follow up on leads and convert opportunities into active customers
- Maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new opportunities for growth
This role requires approximately 50% travel, primarily within the Southeastern United States.
Required Skills & Competencies- Proven success in quota attainment and sales forecasting
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Relationship building and client management expertise
- Technical sales experience, preferably in OEM environments
- Contract negotiation and deal management skills
- Metrics-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and standard business software
Qualifications- Minimum of 6+ years of successful experience in a high-value sales or sales management role, preferably within the U.S. market
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth through strategic thinking and a proactive, "hunter" mentality
- Strong decision-making skills, including the ability to operate effectively in uncertain or evolving environments
- Collaborative leadership style with a strong customer focus
A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering-or equivalent technical experience-is preferred. Experience in industrial heating, electrification, or semiconductor industries is a strong advantage.
A valid driver's license is required.
