Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for generating profitable sales growth for underground and aboveground petroleum storage, containment, and piping products in the Rockies and Canada Regions. Responsible for servicing existing accounts, establishing new accounts, and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with customers by providing technical assistance, entertaining, and frequent personal contact with customers' upper-level management.
  • Develops and presents proposals to customers to solicit sales of Fiber Glass Systems products.
  • Provides technical guidance and sales support whenever necessary.
  • Prepares forecast and budget for territory and monitors progress on a regular basis.
  • Stays abreast of competitors' products and services and assists in developing market and pricing strategy.
  • Assists in preparing job specifications and in making presentations to various industrial, governmental, and code officials.


Qualifications

Job Requirements
  • Work may require evening and weekend work
  • Previous sales experience (territory management preferred)
  • Previous customer-facing experience
  • Candidate must be able to work independently in a home-based office, as the schedule is fully remote
  • Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to provide group presentations in a seminar environment
  • Significant domestic and international (Canada) travel is required
  • Overnight Travel required

Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales working with Engineers, Architects, etc.
  • Knowledge of the downstream petroleum industry is preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint is required.
  • General understanding of how environmental regulations are enforced in the petroleum and water markets.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Must have a valid passport
  • Candidate must satisfy all internal driver eligibility requirements, including compliance with company policies, licensing standards, and driving record criteria.
  • Requires good organizational and computer skills to prepare presentations, maintain customer files, prepare management reports, and maintain accurate records

Pay Range
  • $80,000- $120,000 base annual salary. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
