Full Job Description
As the Regional Sales Manager, Montreal, you'll be responsible for growing and managing Jellycat's presence across the territory by building strong retailer relationships, supporting brand awareness, and ensuring accounts meet Jellycat's merchandising and brand standards. You'll identify new luxury retail opportunities, support in-store product training and events, and provide regular feedback and reporting to help strengthen account performance and customer experience.

While this is a remote role, the candidate must be based within the greater Montreal, Quebec metro area to effectively support and service accounts throughout the territory. The candidate must also be bilingual, fluent in both French and English.

You'll be:

Managing a Territory
  • Passionately representing Jellycat and promoting brand awareness within the existing territory account base.
  • Working with your Team Leader to understand account tiers and determinetravel schedules to ensure retailers receive in-person visits as needed.
  • Meeting sales growth and budget targets.
  • Evaluating which existing retailers do or do not meet Jellycat merchandising and brand standards.
  • Navigating tough conversations when closing accounts that do not meet Jellycat standards.
  • Identifying and securing new luxury accounts.

Engaging Customers
  • Developing trusting, professional relationships with retailers.
  • Engaging with store personnel to ensure they understand and promote the brand.
  • Launching, presenting, and selling in new collections as they are introduced.
  • Ensuring correct visual merchandising and product presentation in stores per Marketing direction.
  • Encouraging retailers to host events as directed by Marketing and participating as needed.
  • Providing in-store/customer training on products and brand awareness.
  • Monitoring adherence to brand guidelines in all promotional and operational activities.

Reporting andProvidingFeedback
  • Providing quarterly updates to management via PowerPoint presentation.
  • Assisting with feedback regarding new products, visual merchandising, and customer interactions.
  • Documenting enhancements made to each account via photos.
  • Placing orders viaMarketTimeor Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Providing reports via Microsoft Dynamics 365 for internal and external use (retailer-specific).

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Traveling occasionally as needed to support accounts, business needs, and team initiatives.

You'll have:
  • Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal), required to effectively support customers.
  • 3+ years of experience as a bilingual Territory Sales Manager, ideally within a luxury or premium brand.
  • Residence in Montreal, Quebec, within the territory you'll be representing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of retail and gift market trends.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • The ability to merchandise products in-store using POS materials and brand guidelines.
  • Moderate proficiency in Excel for reporting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for quarterly business reviews.
  • Experience with a luxury or premium brand and an understanding of premium brand positioning.
  • A creative mindset and strong decision-making skills, with the judgment to seek guidance from senior management when appropriate.

Compensation:
  • $125,000 - $140,000 CAD
