Job Description

Summary

Are you experienced withprofessional-grade audio systems? Do you excel at identifying opportunities to add value and grow new business? Are you adept at bringing innovative ideas to the table and following through to execute them? Axis Communications is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager specializing in Audio Solutions to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll drive sales of Axis' audio solutions across an assigned geographic territory across the Midwest. You'll create and implement strategic business plans, support existing customers (end users, integrators, A&Es, distribution partners) through pre-sales, develop new business relationships, and ensure the success of sales initiatives. Your goal will be to generate awareness and demand for Axis' comprehensive access control and audio offerings, aligning with our growth targets. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

Strategic Planning and Execution: 

  • Develop and execute a regional business plan to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets. 

  • Build concise and focused strategies, plans, and goals for key target groups, aligning with Axis' go-to-market strategy while working closely with other regional sales managers. 

  • Provide monthly reporting on strategic initiatives, progress, and opportunities to management. 

Sales and Development: 

  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with customers and partners to support sales, drive opportunities, and provide feedback to enhance Axis' solutions. 

  • Identify and cultivate key integration partners and A&E specifiers to drive the usage of Axis' access control and audio products. 

  • Discover new markets and innovative solutions to generate additional sales opportunities. 

  • Achieve monthly and annual quotas. 

Customer and Partner Support:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to reduce or remove hurdles in developing audio business.

  • Serve as an internal resource and subject matter expert, supporting sales & marketing initiatives, educational services, demos, and competitive intelligencewithin the Midwest Business Area

  • Provide accurate forecasts and reports on activities and pipelines using CRM tools.

Essential Skills 

  • Expert knowledge of the audio markets; understanding of products and future trends in security, public address, and emergency communications. 

  • Strong project management skills with a focus on attention to detail. 

  • Proven ability to build strategic and trusted relationships at all levels, internally and externally. 

  • Technical aptitude with experience as a subject matter expert in positioning and winning business. 

  • Strong relationships within security and IT professional groups or associations. 

  • Exceptional communication, public speaking, presentation, training, and listening skills. 

  • Self-motivated team player with a strategic vision and the ability to build extensive plans. 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent electronic trade training 

  • 3-5+years in sales driven position

  • Salesforceexperience preferred.

  • Experience inaudiois a must!

  • Strong technical backgroundto be able to run a demonstration of Axis audio solutions.

Salary Range

$125,000 to $140,000 OTE (Dependent on education, experience and location)
