Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to lead a Southeast US-based regional sales team! The Regional Sales Director has responsibility for the success of the region by guiding, focusing, and motivating an indirect sales team of Manufacturer's Representatives to successfully market RenewAire products through a network of wholesale HVAC distributors and commercial HVAC sales offices, that in their entirety, fully serve the residential, light commercial, design / build, and plan & spec markets with the objective of significantly growing our level of business, market share, and brand awareness.

What Regional Sales Directors Do

*Essential Responsibilities*
  • Develop and execute annual regional sales plans and achieve sales targets
  • Drive corporate sales initiatives and manage regional performance
  • Monitor and report on sales trends, competition, and improvement areas
  • Manage Manufacturer's Reps and Wholesalers, including recruiting, training, and performance reviews
  • Set Rep Firms' performance goals and provide coaching, training, and other methods of support
  • Reassign territory coverage and deliver training as needed to achieve performance goals
  • Support major account growth and channel partner development
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and strategic sales planning as needed
  • Contribute to product development, market assessments, and special projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams on process improvements and project execution
  • Crosstrain team members on sales and customer processes
  • Apply Quick Response Manufacturing principles to improve workflow and quality
  • Maintain strong relationships with reps, distributors, and internal sales teams

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or a related field is required
  • Minimum of three years related experience in technical sales capacity
  • Must have knowledge of sales management practices and techniques
  • Prior experience in the application of enthalpic wheel and/or enthalpic plate energy recovery ventilators is preferred
  • Previous sales management experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer software skills
  • Approximately 50% travel (overnight) required
  • The ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Work Environment

This position is a remote, field-based role that requires regular travel throughout the assigned Southeast U.S. territory. The Regional Sales Director works from a home office and frequently travels to customer sites, distributor locations, trade shows, industry events, and other business-related meetings. Travel is expected to be approximately 50% of the time and may include day trips, overnight stays, and air travel.
