Regional Sales Director- Immunology

Position Summary

You will lead a Specialty Sales Team focused on Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Delivery Networks, and Community Accounts in Immunology within the US Specialty Business Unit. You will coach and develop Account Specialists, build strong customer relationships, and deliver measurable growth. You will work closely with commercial operations, marketing, and cross-functional partners. We value leaders who coach with clarity, act with integrity, and drive results through collaboration.   • Lead, coach, and develop Account Specialists to build a high-performing regional team.
  • Create and execute regional business plans that drive sales and meet sales goals.
  • Monitor local market conditions and adapt tactics to meet customer and system needs.
  • Ensure compliant execution of approved commercial plans and field activities.
  • Conduct regular field coaching, performance reviews, and talent development conversations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and operations to translate insights into actions.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain strong field talent to meet regional objectives.
  • Set clear performance expectations and use data to drive outcomes.
  • Support Account Specialists in managing complex accounts within academic and specialty systems.
  • Provide timely feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of activities and results.
  • Foster an inclusive team environment where all voices are heard and valued.

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales leadership experience (e.g., district, regional, or equivalent people-leadership role).
  • Demonstrated experience in biologics, specialty, and buy-and-bill (e.g., rheumatology, nephrology, or other specialty therapeutic areas).
  • Experience working with academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, or specialty practices.
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams to meet goals.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 70% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualification

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, business, or related field.
  • Experience launching products at regional or national level.
  • Familiarity with market strategy, access dynamics, and stakeholder mapping.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using sales and reporting tools.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Prior experience leading teams or initiatives within Immunology or the Specialty Business Unit is strongly preferred.

The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $182,250 to $303,750. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
