Position Title: REGIONAL MERCH/MKTG MANAGER

Pay Grade: 16

Reports To: VP, Operations

Salary: $115000 - $120000

Other Forms of Compensation: 30% Bonus

Job Summary

This key leader oversees regional marketing, merchandising, software platforms, and digital tools to support business growth, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer and client experiences. The role leads communication, training, and implementation of consumer experience programs while maintaining Company brand standards.

Working closely with Operations, Finance, Compass Digital, clients, and external vendors, this leader ensures technology platforms are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives and client expectations. The position serves as the regional point of contact for marketing execution, technology implementation, platform performance, and ongoing technology and data support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads regional marketing and merchandising initiatives that enhance the customer experience and support profitability, sales, and participation goals.
  • Coaches and inspires unit marketing managers and onsite teams to deliver consistent programs, brand standards, and customer experiences.
  • Serves as a centralized planning resource, overseeing marketing content, promotional calendars, merchandising standards, and digital communications.
  • Creates and participates in client innovation updates, making strategic recommendations based on consumer insights, business results, and emerging trends.
  • Uses industry market research to validate project objectives and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborates with onsite marketing managers and Operations teams to ensure quality, alignment, and consistent execution across locations.
  • Oversees regional software platforms and digital tools, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, operational goals, and client expectations.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between Compass Digital, platform vendors, Operations, Finance, and the client for technology requests and initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains a technology platform roadmap aligned with business needs and operational priorities.
  • Leads implementation projects for new technology programs, platform launches, upgrades, and enhancements, coordinating timelines, responsibilities, and vendor deliverables.
  • Coordinates system configuration, data migration, testing, training, and launch readiness in partnership with the appropriate technical and operational teams.
  • Acts as the primary regional point of contact for point of sale and mobile ordering systems, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Ensures menus, pricing, promotions, and brand messaging are accurate and consistent across physical and digital channels.
  • Monitors platform performance and adoption, using data and user feedback to recommend improvements.
  • Troubleshoots technology issues and coordinates timely resolution with Compass Digital and platform vendors, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Supports Operations and Finance with daily technology and data requests, reporting needs, and initiatives that improve execution and decision making.
  • Develops training resources and supports ongoing team education for marketing programs, digital tools, and system changes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualfications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, merchandising, consumer experience, technology platform management, or related operations.
  • Experience coordinating technology implementations, vendor relationships, and adoption across multiple locations.
  • Working knowledge of point of sale systems, mobile ordering platforms, and related digital tools.
  • Strategic, creative, and innovative, with awareness of current marketing tools, technology developments, and industry trends.
  • Strong project management skills, with attention to detail, timelines, and execution.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts, including revenue, margins, costs, and risks.
  • Ability to analyze consumer insights, business data, and platform performance to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal functions, clients, and external vendors while managing competing priorities.
  • Strong communication, training, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor content to different stakeholders and translate technical information into practical operational guidance.
