Qualifications

Full Job Description
The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Cardiovascular Institute is recruiting a full-time cardiovascular medicine physician to join the practice at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania as a Regional Medical Director. The leader will work with Cardiovascular Institute Leadership, Hospital Presidents and other AHN leaders to ensure outstanding medical care is provided to our patients. Saint Vincent Hospital offers treatments including cardiac catheterization, cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, non-invasive testing services, TAVR, Watchman and cardiac rehab. Highlights:
  • 3 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 EP's & 12 APP's
  • Well supported by Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery
  • Work directly with the CVI Chair and Chair for Cardiovascular Medicine for AHN
  • Provide on the ground leadership following the strategic and programmatic goals of the CVI


Job Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate mastery of clinical field. Promote and facilitate sharing of information as it relates to the advancement of medical knowledge.
  • Ensure all clinical, regulatory and accreditation standards and policies are clearly communicated and followed.
  • Motivates and engages all staff in working collaboratively to deliver outstanding care; Develops and strengthens working relationships with staff and service providers
  • Represent the CVI in all Department and hospital administrative meetings and oversees Performance Improvement activities and initiatives in the Hospital
  • Participate in all AHN cardiovascular initiatives, under the direction of the CVI Chair and Chair for Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Lead cardiology medical operations in the Erie/Great Lakes region, and manage strategy in conjunction with the CVI and CVM chairs.


Qualifications:
