As a Regional Industrial Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop the Industrial Engineering function across multiple Jabil sites within a designated region, driving operational excellence, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives. You will act as a strategic partner to site leadership, ensuring the consistent application of best practices and the achievement of regional performance goals.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Industrial Engineers across various manufacturing sites within the assigned region.
* Drive the implementation and standardization of Industrial Engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, MTM, time studies, line balancing, capacity planning) across the region.
* Collaborate with site leadership and functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Quality) to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, developing and executing projects to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Industrial Engineering activities and regional operational performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
* Conduct complex data analysis to identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for process optimization, translating findings into actionable improvement plans.
* Facilitate workshops and training sessions on Industrial Engineering principles and techniques for site-level personnel.
* Support new product introductions (NPIs) and manufacturing transfers by optimizing layouts, processes, and resource allocation to ensure efficient ramp-up and production.
* Develop and manage regional budgets for Industrial Engineering initiatives and resources.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations across regional operations.
* Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the region.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
* 8+ years of progressive experience in Industrial Engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity, preferably in a multi-site or regional setting.
* Proven track record of driving significant operational improvements and cost reductions in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies (certification preferred).
* Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate diverse teams across different locations.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
* Proficiency in industrial engineering software and tools (e.g., simulation software, CAD, data analysis tools).
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region and occasionally internationally as required.
* Experience in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry is highly desirable.
