Position Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Director to join our team in Americas Data Centers. This individual will act as a key strategic business partner to the General Manager of a large product vertical within our Americas Data Centers business. This leader will provide financial leadership and guidance to the Indoor leadership team. We are seeking a hands-on leader responsible for all aspects of product vertical financial planning, reporting and analysis. This high visibility role is critical for driving profitability, ensuring financial integrity, and supporting our continuous improvement culture in a complex manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership & Business Partnership
  • Serve as a Finance business partner to the leadership team, providing strategic recommendations to support sound business decisions.
  • Contribute to strategic planning at the vertical level to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Develop business cases for new product development and capital deployment (including ROI and long-term strategy) to enable informed executive decisions.

Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Oversee the full P&L and balance sheet forecast process for the product vertical, consolidating plant and vertical forecasts into the overall business group.
  • Lead monthly forecasting and annual planning functions, ensuring alignment with vertical business objectives.
  • Analyze financial results against prior forecasts and plans, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
  • Oversee the compilation and submission of standardized financial and KPI reporting, including MBR packages, monthly flash results, variance analyses, and daily dashboards.
  • Communicate actual and forecasted financial results clearly across multiple management levels.
  • Assess and manage financial risks and opportunities to optimize business outcomes.

Cost Accounting & Operational Finance
  • Lead comprehensive financial and operational performance analysis-including profitability, standard vs. actual variances, and key operational metrics.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Operations leaders to drive cost optimization and productivity initiatives across manufacturing sites.
  • Monitor and drive disciplined product pricing, costing/estimating processes, and quotation analysis aligned with strategic roadmaps.
  • Apply manufacturing finance principles (cost accounting, BOM/routing analysis, labor efficiency, PPV) to deliver accurate product costing, variance tracking, and margin analysis.
  • Support annual cost rolls, including standard labor/overhead rate setting, material pricing, and supplier updates.
  • Develop and implement effective tracking for daily production and efficiency on complex modular units to evaluate daily performance and schedule adherence.
  • Review plant performance with operational leaders to identify and drive operational improvements.
  • Support Accounting with annual physical inventory, routine cycle counts, E&O reserves, and production scrap monitoring.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure inventory valuation practices comply with GAAP.
  • Drive cash flow and working capital improvements in coordination with plant finance, procurement, operations, and sales teams.

Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement
  • Serve as a key financial advisor to the General Manager and operational leadership.
  • Collaborate with plant and vertical leaders to establish production standards, validate cost savings, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive business results through the application of 80/20 principles and methodologies.
  • Support the Group Senior Finance Director with financial justification and ROI/payback analysis for major capital expenditures.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, including plant Finance Managers and Financial Analysts.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, integrity, and continuous improvement.


Required Education & Qualifications

Travel and Hybrid Requirement
  • Up to 50% travel during the year for training, development and site visits.
  • Routine site visits to Grenada, MS and Calgary (Alberta, Canada) to meet with plant leadership, Operations and Finance teams.

  • 10+ years of relevant financial experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing/plant environment.
  • Strong, demonstrated skillsets in financial analysis, forecasting, and driving business results.
  • Hands-on experience with an integrated ERP system and a global consolidation system. SAP and HFM a plus.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint and Word.
