Full Job Description
Role Summary:

Veho is rapidly expanding its logistics footprint, creating unprecedented demand for high-caliber operational leadership. The Regional Field Operations Manager is the dedicated leader deployed to drive excellence across our newest and highest-impact sites.

You will deploy into the sites in your region that need the most help: a site without a leader, a site opening for the first time, a site that has drifted off standard. You will run it until it is fixed and the fix holds.

This is a hands-on role. You will take operational control of the building you are assigned to, diagnose what is actually broken across staffing, process, tooling, and leadership, and fix it while the operation is live. You will coach the site's supervisors so the fix outlasts you, hand the building back to a permanent leader, and move to the next one. You will report to the Regional Vice President and take temporary authority over the supervisor team at each site you are deployed to.

You will spend most of your time in warehouses, not at a desk, and you will work in a different building every few weeks. If the variety and the travel sound like the appeal rather than the cost, this is a rare seat.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy to underperforming sites, find the root cause across staffing, process adherence, driver experience, and site leadership, and build a stabilization plan with a clear deadline and a clear definition of done
  • Run the building directly where the operation calls for it. This is a player-coach role, not an advisory one
  • Rebuild the site's daily operating rhythm: start of shift, ops clock adherence, escalation paths, and driver debriefs
  • Serve as acting site leader during leadership vacancies, holding the site at standard rather than just keeping it open, and onboard the incoming permanent leader to a stable building
  • Provide experienced operational leadership for new site launches through the first weeks of live volume, and support peak readiness across the region through staffing plans, throughput validation, and contingency planning
  • Audit assigned sites against the ground operations playbook and close the gaps in the building rather than writing them up for someone else
  • Coach the site's supervisors toward running the building independently, with the goal of making your deployment unnecessary
  • Raise recurring failure patterns you see across multiple sites to regional and central operations, and route friction between site execution and Veho's tooling to our product teams with enough detail to act on
  • Own the numbers on every deployment: on-time delivery, deliveries per hour, delivered not received, ops clock adherence, days to standard, and whether the site is still at standard 60 days after you leave
  • Champion OSHA compliance and safe operating practice in every building you enter
  • Lead through the lens of Veho's leadership principles

What You Bring:
  • 8+ years leading last-mile, delivery station, fulfillment, or high-volume distribution operations, with direct accountability for the performance of a site or a department
  • At least one turnaround you can walk us through in detail: an operation that was underperforming, what you found, what you changed, and the numbers before and after
  • Direct people leadership of a frontline workforce, including hourly and contingent labor
  • Experience across multiple sites, or in a role that required you to ramp into an unfamiliar operation quickly and get results
  • A track record of earning authority with teams that are not your own, and of leaving behind a bench that can run the building without you
  • Willingness and ability to travel 75% or more within your assigned region, including overnight stays of several weeks at a time. This is a permanent feature of the role, not a temporary phase
  • Comfort in a tech-enabled operation where the operating system, routing, and visibility tools are central to how the work gets done
  • Physically able to stand for the duration of a shift and to bend, move, and lift boxes up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and early mornings

Compensation:

$120,000 - $130,000 annually

The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited PTO for exempt level roles.
