Regional Director of Operations to oversee the operations of
three skilled nursing facilities in the Chicago region. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, quality outcomes, employee engagement, and overall facility success.
The ideal candidate is a strong healthcare leader with a proven track record of leading skilled nursing operations, developing leadership teams, and creating a culture focused on quality, accountability, and resident-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational leadership to three skilled nursing facilities.
- Partner closely with Administrators and facility leadership to achieve operational, clinical, financial, and quality goals.
- Monitor facility performance and develop action plans to address opportunities and improve results.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Administrators and other facility leaders.
- Drive census growth, referral development, and overall occupancy in partnership with facility teams.
- Monitor financial performance, labor costs, budgets, and key operational metrics.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and standards.
- Collaborate with Clinical, HR, Recruitment, Finance, and other corporate departments to support facility success.
- Promote strong employee engagement, retention, and leadership development.
- Conduct regular facility visits and leadership meetings to maintain accountability and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, innovation, and exceptional resident care.
- Identify best practices and implement initiatives that improve operational performance across the region.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
- Previous multi-facility or regional operations leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of skilled nursing operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, census development, and quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop facility Administrators and leadership teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- LNHA/Administrator license in IL required.
