Full Job Description
Regional Director of Business Transient Hotel Sales to lead and grow Business Transient (BT) sales across our multi-brand portfolio of Marriott and Hilton hotels. The person hired for this position, will work at our Corporate Office located in the Piper Glen/Ballantyne area of Charlotte.

Position Summary: The Regional Director of Business Transient Hotel Sales will be responsible for managing corporate transient MarRFP/OnQ SM accounts, negotiating preferred agreements, maximizing revenue opportunities, and maintaining brand standards while supporting the individual property sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive Business Transient revenue across all hotels in the portfolio.
  • Manage and grow existing corporate BT accounts while actively prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate corporate preferred agreements and manage RFP (Request for Proposal) processes with Marriott and Hilton national sales teams and directly with clients.
  • Collaborate with property-level sales teams to ensure alignment on BT strategies, pricing, and brand compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for national and regional corporate accounts.
  • Analyze market trends, account performance, and competitive data to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of brand programs, tools, and platforms (e.g., Lanyon, Cvent, CI/TY, One Source, etc.).
  • Participate in regular sales calls, tradeshows, client events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and revenue management strategies for BT segment.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership, identifying successes, challenges, and recommendations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5+ years of Business Transient sales experience, preferably at the regional or corporate level.
  • Strong knowledge of Marriott and Hilton sales systems, loyalty programs, and RFP processes.
  • Demonstrated success in account acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25-40%).

Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with major BT tools such as Lanyon, Sabre, and other RFP platforms.+
  • Existing relationships with national or regional travel buyers and travel management companies.
  • Prior experience managing a portfolio of hotels or multi-property sales environment.
