Full Job Description
This multi-store role supports several locations across New England, including Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

Position Purpose:

This role is responsible for leading the field execution of Merchandising Services for a region of retail stores across 10+ districts. This position leads a direct report team of District Execution Managers, with overall leadership for a team of hundreds of managers and supervisors, and 1,000 plus associates. This position leads and manages change, and executes results by driving a high performing team across assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 20% Holds self and team accountable for high performance of regional merchandising execution metric related to general bay service, projects, and resets. Provides leadership of large merchandising execution programs and initiatives impacting general bay service, projects, and resets
  • 30% Drives execution of tactical plans for the Merchandising Execution organization and translates merchandising services strategy into specific goals and objectives and communicates the vision to the team
  • 10% Manages and measures work, process and metric including safety, quality, and productivity through reporting, field visits and customer feedback
  • 15% Partners directly with leaders (e.g. RVP, DMs, Directors) to provide communication and develop solutions for business performance
  • 10% Sets priorities and develops specific actions and accountabilities for all projects within the region to drive service and business objectives
  • 15% Works collaborative with peers and other leaders across functional boundaries to execute plans and drive results for the region


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
  • This position reports to Sr. Director Merchandising Execution
  • This position has 100 Direct Reports


Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.


Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).


Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

  • Experience working in retail merchandising services industry or working directly for large scale retailer with multi-location responsibility

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
