Salary Range $136,000 - $183,000*
Job Description:YOU WILL BE:The Regional Director, Asset Protection is responsible for identifying, mitigating, and managing enterprise risk and profit loss across a portfolio of ELG department stores on the East Coast. Based in the New York Metro area in a hybrid capacity, this role focuses on the consistent assessment and execution of asset protection, investigative, and shortage reduction strategies across high-volume retail environments.
As a strategic leader, this position holds full accountability for regional asset protection performance, driving operational excellence, shrink reduction, and physical security standards while serving as a key partner to senior regional, district, and store-level leadership.
YOU WILL DO:- Identify and mitigate business integrity and operational risks across the region.
- Travel to market to ensure best in class performance of assigned teams.
- Implement and monitor asset protection, investigation, and shortage reduction strategies.
- Lead performance oversight for assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Partner with facility leadership and regional teams to support execution of asset protection initiatives.
- Ensure effective planning and execution of physical inventory and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with corporate functions to align on business strategies and Exemplar Luxury Group events.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior law enforcement to support investigations.
- Analyze risk trends and develop strategic solutions to reduce loss and enhance safety.
- Lead training and guidance to facility teams on loss prevention best practices.
- Lead internal investigations and ensure resolution of integrity-related incidents.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend operational improvements.
YOU WILL BRING:- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
- 10-15+ years of progressive experience in Asset Protection, or risk management, including multi-unit leadership.
- Proven ability to lead investigations and implement effective loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team development skills, with the ability to manage remote teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders, store operations, and law enforcement agencies.
- Experience conducting and overseeing physical inventories and reconciliation processes.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, internal controls, and compliance practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights to various stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.
