Location: A remote position requiring regular travel to sites throughout CAAbout the Regional Director PositionThe Regional Director, comparable to a General Manager, will lead all aspects of day-to-day operations, with a keen focus on safety, program quality, compliance, and staff development. The successful candidate will have a strong leadership presence and must be a collaborative leader who values servant leadership, can establish long-term partnerships, and build consensus. The selected candidate will be results-oriented and comfortable operating as a hands-on manager.
Salary: Range of $100,000 - $105,000 per year based on experienceHere's what you will need:- BA or BS in Education, Business, Marketing, or Communications with 3-5 years of related experience in education or management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the education/child care industry strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate sensitive and confidential information to various stakeholders and identify solutions with a sense of urgency.
- Strong performance-driven proactive leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to exceed tactical and strategic objectives
- An entrepreneurial spirit that knows how to develop industry relationships, socially adept, with high emotional intelligence
- Excellent leadership, communication,presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Experience in building strong partnerships with school administrators
- Demonstrate an ability to treat people with respect, maintain commitments, inspire the trust of others, work with integrity, and uphold organizational values.
In this exciting role, you'll have the chance to direct the following:- Ensure district-wide compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures. Proactively look for ways to mitigate risk
- Direct completion of performance metrics to ensure customer/stakeholder satisfaction is high in all operational areas, and implement a district-wide action plan to guarantee annual continuous improvement goals are achieved
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Area Managers. Ensure Area Managers have access to training and developmental opportunities
- Develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures for the region to obtain maximum enrollment
- Visit program sites regularly to maintain program quality, licensing standards, and customer satisfaction
