As the Geography Regional Director, you will have the direct oversight of all service line operations and performance for each location within Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas, including affinity group organizations, while reporting to the Senior Vice President/Northern Bureau Chief of AHF. This is a leadership focused role with the opportunity to take AHF to new heights!
As Geography Regional Director, your primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to) growth, expansion, community engagement and events, outreach, and advocacy. This position serves as the liaison between AHF and grass roots community-based organizations, other AIDS service organizations, as well as state and local health departments. This position also assists with assessing funding opportunities, monitoring contract deliverables, and ensuring compliance. It also involves developing, implementing, and evaluating processes to improve overall patient care. In addition, the Geography Regional Director role monitors site performance/key metrics which are a necessary part of reaching organizational goals.
You will have the opportunity to participate in employee engagement/hiring/mentoring, along with oversee general site maintenance and construction of all healthcare centers, pharmacies, testing locations, thrift stores, and regional offices, as needed. Extensive knowledge of current standards of HIV/AIDS care, RW programs, HIV testing, and case management are crucial to this role. Strong communication and collaboration cross-functionally with local and national teams and community leaders is also key. The Geography Regional Director is truly a dynamic leadership position that adds value within in the organization by working alongside fellow Regional Leaders within the Northern Bureau to promote AHF's mission, ensuring success of operations in the region, and providing the best quality care possible for our patients.
