Job Purpose/Summary

The Regional Business Leader is a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or similar sales sector. This role will lead a sales team to drive sustainable growth of Ameluz and PDT lamps in the assigned region. You will translate strategic priorities into tactical execution, coach and develop your team, and act as the primary commercial ambassador with r key regional stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a regional commercial plan aligned with company strategy to achieve sales targets and market share goals for Ameluz and lamps
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of field-based sales professionals, ensuring clarity of objectives, regular performance feedback and individualized development plans
• Optimize account coverage and call frequency by segment, ensuring alignment with the approved customer segmentation model
• Collaborate with marketing to implement promotional tactics and programs
• Analyze sales performance data, market trends and competitive activity; identify strengths, gaps and opportunities, then implement corrective actions and coaching initiatives
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on regional performance, market dynamics and customer feedback
• Act as the regional voice for commercial initiatives, contributing to strategy development through active participation in cross-functional forums
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and ethical standards in all commercial activities

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and leading teams in a multi-product environment
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sales roles, including at least 2 years as a sales manager or equivalent leadership position
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree a plus
• Proven ability to develop and execute territory plans, manage key accounts and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with performance metrics and CRM systems

Full driving license
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel within the region as required (80%)

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with dermatology, medical devices or niche specialty products and buy and bill products and a deep understanding of the reimbursement process for drugs and devices
• Established network of KOLs and key customers in the region
