Position Summary
AB Facility Services (ABFS) is seeking a highly driven Regional Business Development Manager with deep expertise in the commercial janitorial services industry. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across assigned regions, while expanding ABFS's footprint in the commercial cleaning and facilities services market.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong existing network within commercial cleaning, facilities management, or integrated services and demonstrate a proven track record of closing large-scale B2B service contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies to drive new commercial janitorial contracts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across office buildings, corporate campuses, healthcare, education, industrial, and government sectors
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Lead client presentations, site walkthroughs, and proposal development in collaboration with operations and estimating teams
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in alignment with company profitability goals
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, property managers, and facility directors
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service transition for new accounts
- Meet or exceed regional sales targets and revenue growth goals
- Maintain accurate CRM records of activity, pipeline, and forecasting
Required Qualifications
- Must have direct experience in the commercial janitorial / commercial cleaning services industry (non-negotiable)
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in facilities services or related industries
- Proven track record of closing mid-to-large scale service contracts
- Strong understanding of commercial cleaning scopes, pricing models, and service delivery structures
- Existing network of property managers, facility directors, or real estate decision-makers preferred
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management
