About this opportunity

Your everyday role as a Regional Account Executive for PAM Transport is reaching out to prospective customers, negotiating rates, and ultimately gaining profitable business through these relationships. Key aspects to succeeding in this role requires extensive cold calling, initiative for finding and developing new connections, and maintaining high performance levels within a competitive environment. In addition to the annual salary, compensation is made up of an individual, results-based bonus.

Pay and Schedule

This position is Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The pay range is $85,000 - $120,000 dependent upon experience. This position also includes a competitive incentive plan.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate relationships and gain new business through cold calling and prospecting
  • Responsible for soliciting target markets and priority lane
  • Cultivating existing customers into long-term business relationships
  • Ability to effectively communicate account changes through multiple levels of the company
  • Staying informed on current market conditions and trends throughout the year
  • Work closely with operational leadership to target key domiciles
  • Review customer lane files and ensure rating accuracy
  • Document customer correspondence and development in the CRM program
  • Acquire and grow new small and medium-size accounts
  • Utilize Power BI and account research tools
